SH Piaggio 108B 1/72 (a newcomers attempt)

Hello all It has been a while since I have posted here, but I am back. Although it is WAY above my skills, I have decided to tackle this Italian beast. And what a beast! The Super Hobby 1/72 requires a lot of extra work. To jazz things up a little, I have added a PE-Set from Eduard for the Sm.79, ba...

Hallo Bernhard

Vielen Dank für deine Empfehlung!

I am trying now a colourless suture that seems to work just fine. If not, I will try the fishing line

BTW, what do you find here in Deutschland as substitute for "future" (finish coat)?

Herzliche Grüße

Hi Vincent Thanks for the tips. I did try to sand out the filter from the 202, but apparently it was not enough. I will keep trying, though - about a year ago, I had never used an airbrush before, so I am happy with the progress. Or I will stick to operating babies - that is a lot easier  Chee...

A beginner's tale - Part II (the bombers)

Hello again Continuing my series of recent "achievements", I bring you 3 bombers. I am particularly proud of the Sm.82 which was a great kit to assemble. Again they are all in 1/72 1. A beginner's tale - Part I (the fighters)

Dear friends I am assuming you are already tired of seeing in Stormo all these masterpieces by Jean, Lubos, Vince, Maurizio and all the others. So now it is time to look at some "not-so-good" (in fact horrible) models, which however represent my serious effort into getting better at this hobby. At l...

Well, the CDU (Merkel) had ca. 33% of the votes on the German election, which summed up with the 15% of the FDP (Westerwelle) produces a safe majority in the parliament. Let's see if the threats were for real. I agree with you, Vince. There does not seem to be any logic in targeting countries whose ...

There have been many threats this week in regards to the upcoming general elections in Germany next Sunday. Apparently, Al-Qaeda is planning on a blood bath should the CDU and Merkel win again (which is likely, and particularly now in a right-oriented coalition with Westerwelle from the FDP). If tha...

There is an association in Germany called Kindersdorf, in Düsseldorf, which flies in kids from Afghanistan with the most horrendous wounds and no chances of proper treatment. These children are then "distributed" among hospitals in Germany which then perform the required surgeries completely "pro bo...

Hi Mirek

When is the E-day going to be (I assume 19-20?) Most importantly, where in Prague is it? Can you get tickets directly at the entrance?

I may be in attendance...

Cheers
