Same thing with Special Hobby they'll send you missing parts for free - I haven't tried ordering new parts.

I think I paid approximately 1/2 the price of a kit for 4 small parts for an Italeri kit ...

The purpose of raised panel lines was to highlight them by shadow, they were eventually replaced by recessed panel lines which were easier to mold btw. I'm sure Richard has more to add here. I handled ...

How are you planning to weather the plane? I think your kit has raised panel lines, its very hard to make any kind of weathering technique work on raised panel lines.

What I like about the photo is the shade of NC4 (FS.30219) which has a pinkish tone to it which is very similar to the shade found in the old Polly Scale paints for NC4/US Sand.

Very much aware of this - good eye Richard! When I was working on decal sheets 48007 and 48008 with Stefano, these kinds of details kept coming up. In many cases having to re-do profiles 2 or 3 times ...

Very interesting and good news - I may carry the magazine. I believe Vince Biondi has the whole collection or at least has many of these very nice magazines. Why did they stop publication?
