actually I thought the Ro.58 might have been a good comparison, similar engine power but the Ro.58 was allot faster and more maneuverable. Ro.58 never went operational because of the armistice.

I was wondering what took you Smile, you used to talk about the Beaufort and Beaufighter - really no comparisons to RA planes. I agree the plane looks better in RA colors.

I never found evidence of this - the same canopies were used on the Re.2000 and later the C.202 with no complaints.

I updated the article to provide a little more detail for weathering effects, although you could use oily-exhaust (paint) and careful airbrushing to reproduce what Jean did.
