Re: MRP Lacquer Paints - Italian Colors

I should point that Vitocharts are actually as old as CMPR chips, dating 1977. They were obtained in a some different way, since the Vito author took sampling at that time by the actual aircraft (with possibility of some weathered fading) or directly by the original paints at the factories. The CMPR...

I think this link could be useful to you.
https://www.difesa.it/SGD-DNA/Staff/DT/ ... _P_100.pdf
It comes directly from Ministero della Difesa. I hope Italian is not a problem to you.

Re: Question about ANR Bf 109G-10 NON ERLA

Salut Farman, After having studied for years the matter I could tell you that: - no known pics are currently available for those subjects - if some profile exists, it would be totally speculative and there is no reason to make a model after it, if you want to exactly replicate the real thing - by co...

By a historical point of view, I agree with Jean.
Notwithstanding this, RLM82 or not, the result is amazing!
Many compliments to Michel and to the French Modeling School.

Warning!
In the actual aircraft the line carved towards the trailing edge, as in the drawing. It seems you did the contrary!

Re: thanks

...Like for Luftwaffe subject It's often difficult to make the right choice from B/W photo, allways an interpretation.... Thierry You're right! And RA is even worse to interpretate than LW, as at early stages there were no standard rules for colour patterns and hues. That's why we're happy to share...

Just to point that early RA fighters were equipped (when ever) with the AR1 radio, that was only a receiver. This, and a general poor quality of the device, made communications very difficult. All CR.32s and CR.42s of 412 Squadriglia in East Africa had those radios in December 1940 (that was a luxur...

Bernhard, You can find a description in English of this kind of attack here: http://surfcity.kund.dalnet.se/italy_reiner.htm , towards the end of the file (but I suggest you to read it all, as it's extremely interesting). It seems that this kind of head-on attack was used also by Luftwaffe fighters....

Image 8 has a strong yellow degradation. I thing the following, slightly corrected in colours, gives a better idea.

Both. As at an early stage Italian heavy bombs hadn't the belt to be horizontally loaded, Italians bought stocks of SD 50, 100, 250, 500 and even 1000 kgs German bombs, the first two for wing racks. Once the device was provided for Italian products, national bombs of 50 (wings) and 250 kgs (belly) w...
