Excellent work on an uneasy kit! The painting scheme is a killer and you have done it to perfection! Bravissimo Richard!

Wish I'd known about the Vitocharts G.12T Giallo Mimetico 1 base coloration, laziness on my part here  I wasn't scale modeling when Vitocharts came about, missed out how they'd energized modelers then.

Richard must have received a bad kit. I built this kit about two months ago and I did not encounter any of these problems. I do recommend this kit!

...could y'all post photos of your build? Undoubtedly is accurate, STORMO should post it instead of mine if indeed so.

Will take the kudos even though the paint finish is inaccurate. I have number of other 3-color Mimetico builds yet, one FIAT for sure is the G.50V whenever Italian Kits Wings re-releases it, whether they'll release their G.18/18V is another matter. After "retiring" from model building c.2021-22 will keep the Humbrols handy just in case am up to building any more Italians.

I am not smart enough to know how to post pictures. But my wife is. I will try to get her to post some pictures.

Richard, please do not take what I said in the wrong way. I always compliment your work. All I said was that you must have received a poor copy of the plane. As you know dealing with resign can be difficult due to the nature of the material used. If I offended you in any way I am sorry. Please accept my apology it was not meant as a criticism.

...y'all just pointed out the poor resin castings, true indeed that was! Originally was going to paint my G.12T in Tavola X colors but went 3-color Mimetico taking on the challenge of intricately painting a large "Italian" C1A/B knowing it likely wasn't accurate.

Nice work your builds; still trying to find a 1/72 scale Caproni Ca.133 kit, is yours a 1/48 EVA one? Late this year will build SEM Model Savoia-Marchetti S.74 "604-8", need to be sure base color is Verde Mimetico 3, if not then it likely Giallo Mimetico 3 heavily over-sprayed with the former + Marrone Mimetico shade.

The Caproni 133 is 1/48. I bought it from Mister Kit. He is located in Milan, Italy. I get most of my things from him.
