Anyone know what interior color of Cant Z-501s had and?

Post by hike65 » Sun Dec 02, 2007 1:21 pm

Hello, I'm doing a Cant Z-501 modeled after 1941 and saw either anticorrisione or grigio azzurro 1 was used for interior. I want to do exterior in version I saw with a differnet from Italeri kit that has a raised cupola around front nose gunner's station and windows in nose. Profile is from Tauro decals with Cant in Gunship grey FS36118 topsides. Any ideas on interior color and also know of any plans of cupola so I can build it onto 1/72 kit? Looks perhaps a late production Cant? Any thoughts appreciated!

Hi Phil,
Try ADI (Ali D'Itralia) #17 (line drawings and interior colors). Color interior appears to be a light grey (GAC 1). Raised cupola on later machines Serie VII and VIII which also featured side opening panels just below the cupola.
