- > Italeri S.79 Serie I build work resumes tomorrow, July 18 projected completion.

- > Carpet cleaning mid-August, can't start on building large model, eying last 1973-vintage Delta-2 Macchi C.205V got in stock as "filler" probably in ANR livery, must check on having RLM gray paints for the project got decals though.

- > UPDATE Bought Humbrol 245, 246, 247 RLM 74, 75, 76 enamel tins tonight at reasonable cost though took an HOUR to tie them down! Enamels fast disappearing, have more than enough for my future Regia Aeronautica Italian & Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana builds though.

- > Got one Italian Kits Savoia-Marchetti SM.89, two Xotic-72/Aviation USK S.84 kits in stock, will build these after rugs are cleaned taking me into early October; challenging kits to build.

- > Also want to build my last SUPERMODEL CANT Z.1007bis Bideriva kit in stock, CANT Z.506B, Xotic-72 FIAT RS.14 kits taking me into mid-December; challenging as well particularly the RS.14.

- > By Mid-Fall Italeri hopefully will have re-released their Savoia-Marchetti S.81 kit No.1388, will buy two, one to make a S.73 with SEM Model parts, would like to build them this year but more likely sometime before Summer 2019.

- > The Winter 2018-2019 Model Build Schedule is being developed but want to build the five SUPERMODEL Macchi C.202 kits got left in stock ala the original release kit options: C.202 "Straight" DB 601 Air Compressor Pipe, C.202AS, C.202CB Caccia Bombardiere Drop Tank, C.202D Chin Radiator, C.202EC Esperimento Cannoni versions in Verde Oliva Scuro 2 & Giorgio Azzurro Chiaro 1, could get to them early March 2019 maybe sooner.

Richard I propose that a pictorial reference be made from your builds to go along with Stormo reference of camo schemes to show how Regia Aeronautica look like when expertly rendered. I must admit I was a little worried when I saw so many torpedoes made, that you might have fitted two. Smile

Ohh and here's a rare pic of the sm79 at Duxford airshow Smile...No it's Airfix of corse Smile

Cleaver photo editing here, modeler should had sprayed on Model Master semi-gloss clear to highlight textures maybe even gloss.

Do know about the S.79 twin torpedo trials; Airfix kit comes with two torps Italeri one though the latter includes parts for two torps per some wartime photos of S.79s showing racks to carry both.

All my photos were taken with a Kyrosera Cell Phone camera under blue LED lighting crudely replicating early 1980s Airfix model kit box tops of finished models sitting atop sprue pattern prints, IMHO the best model kit "box art" for "truth in advertising" possible.

May include contemporary aircraft photo images in future builds.

Thanks, aren't "professional" but will take any positive complements Wink

Placed order today with SEM Model for one FIAT G.12T kit, likely will build it in 2019 along with their other kits over Winter 2018-2019 into Spring 2019.

I like this idea! Also in part why I ask Richard to kindly supply us with as many articles as he can for the Gallery - he's covering of ground others can use to improve their modeling skills and accuracy. Beautiful job Peter! If its yours I'd like a short article!

Let me know Vince if you want another separate article regarding my current S.79 builds or write something you can edit to incorporate in what I'd sent you regarding the first two S.79 builds.

I don't have the physical space to "artifully" photo shoot my models but possibly can photo them on white backgrounds & flooring for photo editing by others.

Good idea I'll just pull off from here what I need. Curiously we don't have an ANR S.79 in our Gallery which is arguably the most interesting variant of all!

Glad I'd accommodated y'all here. Wanted to work on the S.79 Serie I yesterday but got waylaid with other matters; painted Marrone Mimetico 1 (Model Master 2009 British Crimson + Humbrol 118 80/20 + 36% overall Testors Flat White equivalent) "stripes" on Mainwings, Fuselage & Tailplanes today, setting all aside to dry, painting Rudder Tricolors next.

As mentioned above will start on the last Delta 2 Macchi C.205V got in stock after building the S.79 Serie I. Humbrol RLM 74, 75, 76 Enamel Tins I'd bought yesterday should arrive late next week, took an HOUR to find them all! Thank GOD for the Internet, would had been near utterly impossible to do so 25 years ago that's for sure!

Thanks Wink Photos of all new Regia Aeronautica Italia & Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana model builds will be posted here, >40 full kits & conversions currently in stock though depending on new subject releases could balloon to over 50 keeping me busy till 2021 at least. In 2017 built ~30 models majority single-engine subjects, 2018 maybe will get 20 built mostly multi-engine.
