Does anyone have tips for references on details and walkarounds for the CANT Z501 and other Italian flying boats of the interwar/ww2 era? interior and exterior photos appreciated. Building the Gabbiano in 1/72 with the PE detail kit but location of ammo boxes around turrets in doubt, among other items. Would also like to detail the beaching trolley if possible.
There is a S55X on the shelf waiting its turn, any references on that interesting beast (other than a Google search image) would be useful
Thanks in advance

This is "straight from box" build so no super detailing other than note second photo from bottom showing tiny bit of open bottom access hatch. I'd looked everywhere to determine how the hatch opened & closed, best can figure out it slid open towards the front flush inside the gondola. This is a very old kit so no doubt there are aftermarket parts for it but finding them pretty sure will take some doing unless y'all can fabricate them. Others at STORMO hopefully will help y'all out with building this interesting flying boat.

If y'all are game for another flying boat challenge consider this beast:
