Thanks for the welcome, I try to build tal models to my liking and that's how it works out for me. I'm glad you are enjoying my tinkering. Now back to the model, the riveting continues, there is still a lot left to do.

Already, the model is slowly taking the shape of an aeroplane and the reliable lego blocks I use to catch the geometry.

Tricky ;-) I wrote before that this kit itself goes together like Lego blocks :-) Carry on Kriss - it's a pleasure to watch progress.

I laid primer and painted a white cross on the rudder and a red stripe on the fuselage. Then masking and primer again.

ICM has made a very nice replica of the engine's double star, and ICM has also solved its assembly in an interesting way by cleverly hiding the mounting pins and which are also intended to catch the geometry and correct assembly of the engine and its cowl. We can make the engine in a closed cowl as well as in various combinations of open. With the open option, we have to put covers on the cylinders at this point. There is a hole in the cylinders where the spark plug is supposed to be and I used this hole to make the spark plugs. I have painted the engine parts in the appropriate colours and completed them with the plates from EDUARD. The two side covers will be removed so that something will be visible. As you can see in the pictures I painted the parts separately and then put it together. Thanks to the pegs that fix them together, it is assembled without any problems.

I haven't had the chance but I'm showing off another addition to the 'Falco' namely the resin wheels from CMK. The wheels have realistic tyre deflection, reproduced lettering on the tyre and an improved rim. CMK also offers wheels for the Fiat G.50 and these are the same wheels only without the deflection, I also have the G.50 and will start it soon. To show such a beautiful wheel I will make one chassis shin closed and the other open. The model will gain in attractiveness. The next step was to paint the tyre and mask it to be able to paint the rim. While masking, the cab cover was also masked off. As I wrote earlier ICM included a template in the instructions for making the masks but out of my laziness I did not use it and made the masks myself.

I've also used CMK resin wheels in my other builds (Fiat g.50, Macchi C.200 and Regiiane Re.2005) and they are truly great. Carry on ;-)

Not all parts of the model are in the photo but all have already been painted with the colour of the underside.

Another camouflage colour applied, but there will be another layer. Because on this one after drying the shading shows through too much.

I don't know how it is for you , but I sometimes take the model to work and there I can build it. Being at night I was able to improve the camouflage painting in peace. The only downside is that I don't have the opportunity to take good pictures there as I do now at home and that's because of the renovation.
