They look great!

Thanks! Major painting is done, no disasters though paint starboard belly band on the "spotted" model ran some, pulled some of it off with Scotch tape & resprayed, looks OK now. Also have to repaint Engine Cowling Cooling Inlets on Yellow Nose Serie III model, no biggie.

Decal Application work will take couple of days, got lots of C.200 & C.202 decal sheets, cut-up ones will continue using, e.g. useable MM number sets, fuel, oil & first aid markings, propeller adjustment et.al Fuselage placards, others e.g. external power et. al. will hand paint on.

- > Water Decals "mostly" selected for all models today November 5th, process to far longer than expected, still have others to select.

- > Wing Tri-Fasci Marking Decals were applied on all models, took longer than expected as well.

- > Decal applications continue tomorrow likely into Wednesday

> VERY tedious work; magnifying glasses essential; applying M.M. number decals THE most difficult of all.

Great job!

Thanks! Got SEM Model Kits 72003 CNA PM.1 & 72002 IMAM Ro.63 ready to build. The Ro.63 kit came with a CD with an Adobe PDF containing kit instructions, my PC can't read it so asked SEM Model if they could e-mail me the PDF...Update: Cleaned the CD, was able to copy files Very Happy

Will start on the PM.1 Monday, cute little thing, do hope it won't turn into a Mogwai ala the Gremlins movie Shocked

- > This will be my first SEM Model build.

- > The kit has 12 parts one a wrap-around clear vacuform incorporating side & crew door windows which must be glued in place then masked for paint spraying.

- > Fuselage, Mainwing, Tailplanes & Rudder are in single pieces, basic Instrument Panel & Crew Seat pieces are also provided though a Pitot Tube will need to be fabricated.

- > Landing Gear is in three pieces, Side Bracing Struts need to be fabricated well as a landing skid.

- > The Propeller is in one piece, a separate short circular piece must be glued in before gluing on the Fuselage.

- > Decals are provided for the sole PM.1 prototype.

Painting the PM.1 presents a photo interpretation problem, i.e. whether Alluminio, Bianco Avorio 5 or Bianco Neve 6, here are two photos of The Real McCoy from different angles:

Here is a photo of a built kit from superaero.it in Alluminio:

Here are two photos of a built kit from vintagekit.it in Bianco Neve 6:

The PM.1 was the bases of the post-WWII Macchi M.B.308 number of photos up on the Internet showing specimens painted in Alluminio ala this one:

Per STORMO's Color Guide Bianco Nerve 6 was used for Air Ambulance & Rescue aircraft, Bianco Avorio 5 Colonial, Alluminio was universally used before 1936 continuing on maritime aircraft past then till 1940 then again by the post-WWII Aeronautica Militare, e.g. M.B.308s. I'd read Bianco Avorio 5 continued to be used on training aircraft, e.g. Nardi FN.305s & 315s, given Alluminio & Bianco Neve 6 have been represented on prior PM.1 kit builds am strongly leaning towards painting mine Humbrol 148 Matt Radome Tan replicating Bianco Avorio 5, will make the final decision soon.
