After the FC.12 will build the SEM Model Ro.58 and AVIA LM.02, should get them done by January 10th or earlier, will take time out to compose articles after then before building the LF Models Macchi C.200bis & C.201 resins.

Per an earlier post am concentrating on building single-engine model kits over Winter 2018-2019, building multi-engine ones over previous three winters in miserably cold weather particularly over 2014-2015 in the garage of the folks former house here in Cameron Park took its toll ala endless flus, better I'd build the biggies when warmer.

Seen some of their pix on the Internet, will check them out again when commencing my build. My interest in the Ro.58 hearkens from 1980s when after some 15 years again came across Johnathan W. Thompson's Italian Civil & Military Aircraft 1930-45 book, an aviation subject I'd expected would had been modeled during the 20th Century but probably best not for me given it wouldn't be till 2006 I'd decide to build at least one of every 1/72nd Scale Regia Aeronautica Italia airplane models I could lay my hands on.

- > Separated One Piece Fuselage & Mainwings from resin sprues, trimmed & sanded them for gluing together today December 10th.

- > Glued above parts together, Mainwings positioned towards Fuselage Wing Root Butt Ends top edges to minimize putty filling & sanding over scribed details.

> Much puttying over Wing Root Joins necessary; Underside Fuselage Wing Root Butts too large, must carve trim & sand them smooth for better appearing Mainwing joins, gonna be tricky Shocked

> Huge positive Mainwing dihedrals similar to Aeronautica Lombarda A.R. radio controlled flying bomb, maybe bit more than wartime LM.02 photos.

- > Resuming work on model tomorrow after putty dries.

Today December 12th purchased TWO c.1970 vintage Italaerei Reggiane Re.2001 1/72 scale injected plastic kits off eBay for U.S. $25.14 + free shipping to build the Italian Kits Isotta Fraschini Delta Engine Conversion & Bomba a Ossigeno Liquido (Liquid Oxygen Bomb) 2001 resin variants in 2019. They are amongst the surviving few sold under the Italaerei label (Catalog No. A-102) prior to SUPERMODEL issuing them c.1973 well as amongst the first new Regia Aeronautica Italia/Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana model subjects marketed since the late 1960s. Work on building them should commence after completing the LF Models Macchi C.200bis & C.201 resins.

Update: Vendor withdrew sending one kit today December 13th, severely damaged, refunded me for it, put eBay bid in for another, will know on Monday if successful.
