CONTEST: SMOKE RING BUILDOFF 2008!

It's here, the 2008 SMOKE-RING BUILDOFF!

CONTEST DETAILS:
Enter a fully completed and photographed model of a Regia Aeronautica or ANR aircraft in any scale, e.g., 1/72, 1/48, 1/32. The model must be finished in the classic Smoke Ring Camouflage Scheme featured on some aircraft used by the Regia Aeronautica and ANR during WWII. The Smoke Rings must be applied either free-hand or using an airbrush. Submit your photographs to: stormo@stormomagazine.com

CONTEST RULES:
The model must be a subject of the Regia Aeronautica or the ANR in the period 1923-1945. The model must be fully photographed from all sides including port and starboard views, forward and aft, undersides and top views are required. 6 pics 768 pixels width (minimum) must be submitted. The criteria for judging will be exactness of color and camouflage schemes, the quality of photos and the quality of construction. Contest ends January 01, 2009. Winners will be announced February 1, 2009.

This should be great.Now all I have to do find time in my schedule for another build.My commitments are fairly heavy at present and the only completed project is the up graded 21C Macchi 202 smoke rings aren't contest quality.When does the contest end?

Hi Gregory,
The contest ends on Jan 01, 2009. I thought I'd add the holiday season since its the best time to build a kit or two :) !

You certainly will be hard to beat. However judging from the talent I've seen here on Stormo this will be one great contest. I'm glad I'm not judging this one. Best of Luck to All. Excellent Macchi too Jean.
