Between all the produced Ba.65 kits in 1/72nd scale (AZ, Azur, RCR, etc), which has the best dimensional and outline fidelity?

Given that they are all of short-run quality, level of detail is not important to me (as most of it will probably have to be corrected or redone completely)

I've had a go at nearly all Ba.65 kits in both 1/72 and 1/48. For me, the only ones to bother with are AZ's 1/72 kit and Special Hobby's 1/48 kit. The biggest problem with the AZ kit is the canopy. The rest is pretty decent for a limited run kit. I have yet to builld the SH 1/48 kit, but it looks good in the box. Check out Jean Barby's build in Stormo's gallery!

Thank you for your opinion, Chris.
Could you tell me, is the AZ canopy misshaped, or just poorly molded?

Regards,
Aleksandar

A bit of both really. I just could not get it to fit despite the care taken trimming the piece out. I might try removing those pesky side windows and using Kristal Kleer instead.
