Auguri Daniele!
Congrats on writing this book.
I have a question, was Scarpetta an Ace with the 2 Gruppo Caccia in Malta? Very Happy

Hi Vince!

Thank you so much!

No, Scarpetta was not an Ace with 2 Gruppo.

The individual claims was two in Spain and other four in WWII.

05.09.1938 an I-15 over Venta de los Camposines;
09.11.1938 an I-16 over Corbera de Ebro;

15.11.1940 a PZL P.24 over Klcyr (Albania);
13.02.1941 a Bristol Blenheim over Gramshi (Albania);
23.02.1941 a PZL P.24 over Klcyr (Albania);
14.06.1942 an Hawker Sea Hurricane over Mediterranean sea.

A big hug, Daniele.
