This is my first post, I'm glad to be here. I have the new Stormo Battle of Malta sheet. I would like to build Serafini's C.202 MM.7837. I have not been able to find a picture of MM.7837 on the Internet, Google hasn't been my friend either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Scott,
I found the aircraft on this website, but mm7837 is Tenente Giovanni Ambrosio's plane, unless he and Serafini shared the same plane.
Here is the link:

Hope ths helps
Vincent.

Hello Scott, welcome to Stormo and I hope you like the decals. There are no pictures of 378-9. The plane used in the decal sheet is based on the profile in Ali e Colori #4, Profile 23, p.14 depicting 378-9 MM.7837 at Gela in July 1942. MM.7837 was used by Serafini who shot down a Spitfire over Malta on 14/10/42. Serafini shot down a second Spitfire over Malta 25/10/42 using possibly 378-2 - we don't have the MM or unit/aircraft number for this kill. Having a personal mount was unusual for non-officers in the RA.

Grazie, gentlemen! (This is also the extent of my Italian). I now know why I couldn't find a picture of Serafini's aircraft. The decals match well pictures I've seen of other 378a aircraft. So, time to break out the 1/48 Hasegawa C. 202. The new decals are great and I look forward to more.
