I am looking for resin CR 32 nose 1/48 Classic Airframe

Post by Starflyer » Thu May 17, 2007 3:47 am

The nose of my kits is terribly damaged on the cooling radiator's wing (see the photo below). For me is it impossible repair in a good way the damage, and this is the most visible point of model. I am looking for spare part, or old kit never finished to "stole" the nose to replace.
If some one could help me I will appreciate

Ciao Davide,
The easiest thing to do is to contact Classic Airframes. Classic Airframes support is probably the best in the business and will replace missing or damaged components immediately.

Hello Davide,
I encountered the same problem with my CA Fiat CR 32. Classic Airframes sent out a carefully packed replacement after receiving my e-mail request. Great customer service!

Good luck,
Jeff

Contacting Classic Airframes...

Post by Starflyer » Mon May 21, 2007 6:43 am

I wrote mail to Classic Airframes at this addresses (from CA website) contact@classicairframes.com but I didn't receive answer from them.
Could some one of you confirm the email address of Classic Airframes?

Hi Davide,
It did take a couple of days to get a response, but once I reveived the response the part showed up on my doorstep within days.

You could always build an early version or Chinese version without the cooling fins.

I had the same problem with my RA CR.32.

I must say I am quite disapointed in CA. They emailed me back without so much as an apology for the defective part. They also said for me to be patient as they will mail as soon as practicable....... :x

This to me, is not good customer service...It makes me wonder if I should purchase their 1/48 Cr. 42

Dear Mike,

I receveid the spare parts from Classic Airframes part free of charge after few weeks from the day I sent them email request (I live in Italy), so I think they are reliable and professional. Probably you need to be patient little bit and they will solve the problem.

It seems they could have temporary problem, don1 t give up...you will enjoy building the CR 32 fantastic kit :) , believe me

Thanks. Hope you're right. The CR. 32 is a nice kit. Like the new colored PE, but I am going to need the part real soon.......
