Hello to all,

I am planning to start working on a 1/72 SM.75 PD using the Italian Kits conversion set and the Italeri SM.82. I would like to recreate a military model, but I am having a bit of trouble finding information or pictures. The only one I came accross so far is a drawing of a machine of the 143 Gruppo (602-5), whose camouflage scheme seems somewhere between C4 and D1B, as seen here:

In the STORMO color guide, we find the scheme E6 as appropriate for the Sm.75.

Does anyone have any reference/graphic/Photo that could help me? I would really appreciate it.

Wishing you all a good weekend, many thanks in advance.

Cheers

Alex

Hi Alex,
Try this link, it's in Italian, but the colour scheme is nice.

Hi Vince, many thanks for the images and link. These are the SM.75 that flew from Rome to Tokyo, a political-promotional flight. They are very interesting indeed!

However, the conversion set from Italian Kits uses the Sm.79-Shape tail, so I am looking for the "older" Regia Aeronautica versions with this tail.

Thanks again,

Cheers
