Any pictures of FIAT A.S.2 engine?

Post by corran » Sat Nov 01, 2008 3:49 am

I am looking for pictures of FIAT inline engines - A.S.2 (and A.S.3, if any) which was used on Macchi M.39 racer.
Thank you in advance.

You may want to drop a pm to Giulio Gobbi, he's one of the Webmasters of M+ and likely has photos of the AS2. Giulio should be on our member list, he's one of the early members, otherwise contact me offline and I'll provide you with his email. If you examine one of the photos of the M.39 in our gallery, I believe there's an AS2 sitting behind the plane.

Thank you.
I wrote a p.m. to Giulio Gobbi as you recommended.
The engine behind M-39 looks like A-12 to me, but i may be wrong of course.
