MC-202 wing fasces

Post by mholly » Tue Nov 03, 2009 11:55 pm

Hello to all!
Newcomer here seeking advice.
What were the officially prescribed dimensions for MC-202 wing fasces?
I recall there was some info in Aerodetail book but unfortunately I don't have it any more.
I have a Skymodels decal sheet and fasces are slightly larger than those included in Hasegawa kit which in addition have much thinner "circle".
Thanks in advance.
Mario

Thank you very much Rick, I appreciate your help!
How common/frequent was the decal application?
Cheers,
Mario

Hi Mario,
I made some measurements and here I present the results

Stotmo decals 19,0 mm diameter 1,0 mm thin ring

Hasegawa decals 19,0 mm diameter 0,5 mm thin ring

MSAP dcecasls 19,7 mm diameter 1,0 mm thin ring

Alitaliane decals 20,5 mm diameter 0,8 mm thin ring

Aeromaster decals 19,0 mm diameter 0,5 mm thin ring

Skymodels decals 21,0 mm diameter 1,0 mm thin ring

Tauro decals 20,0 mm diameter 0,9 mm thin ring

Montex Mask 19,0 mm diameter 0,7 mm thin ring

For me the best is MSAP and Tauro.
