Fiat G 55, Special Hobby 1/72 work in progress.
Kit is pretty accurate in shape but needs some work.
Wings trailing edge is incredibly thick, cockpit is missing few panels, has wrong armor plate (but in this one I’m living as it is) tail wheel well is wrong (a resin plug).
Exhausts are missing shrouds and so on.
So it is more of modeling than gluing plastic pieces together.

I've missed that post. Very interesting. But the fact that "traces of yellow paint" have been found near the opening handle of the canopy still doesn't seem enough to speculate that the whole cockpit was that color. Anyways, yellow looks cool and to date no one can proof you're wrong! Conclusion: go ahead on your way and don't forget to show the progress!
