Hey Folks,
So I went to Engine&Things and the have an Alfa Romeo AR 1000 RC-41-1 V12 for the Macchi 202. I read somewhere the 202 and 2001 had the same engine. If this is the case I'll support local and grab the Engine&Things AR 1000.
Sincerely
Tim

DB 601 for Re. 2001
I hey Folks, I am starting to plan out my Classic Airframes Re.2001 build. I have decided I want to show off the engine and a few other things. I went on scalemates to see what they had listed when I typed in DB 601 1/48. I realize Alfa Romeo made the engine and it was the RA1000. They have a RA1000...

Re: Special Hobby Reggiane Re.2000 Serie I 1/48 dissapointment
Hi Chris,
I have the Special Hobby Serie III in 1/72, it's a decent kit and at least the wings are correct.
It really is, I am to busy with builds that are not a problem, that I haven't got around to writing Special Hobby directley.
Cheers
Tim

Special Hobby Reggiane Re.2000 Serie I 1/48 dissapointment
Hello Everyone, I am a Re.2000 and Re.2001 fan. After digging in and starting on Special Hobbies 1/72 Re.2000 serie III, I fell hard. My first blackout purchase occurred when I went to Model Land here in Calgary Alberta and saw Classic Airframes Re.2001 for about 40 bucks. Yes that kit. I call it my...

Articles about painting WW2 Italian Aircraft.
I am having a difficult time getting the right paint effect for my Fly 1/72 Fiat G.50 Bis Freccia. I just need to be pointed towards some good articles about aribrushing the camoflauge. I'm sure there are some on here but I feel like I am just not finding them. My biggest issue is getting the green ...

Re: Fly 1/72 G.50 Freccia
Hello Everyone! Well it made it! I have to be honest. I had a good look. The kit, for you typical Czech short run. It's one of the best I have seen yet. I would feel happy just building it straight from the box. I don't have anything to check dimensions. So I can rivet count it to death. But it very...

Ciao! Well this lil arrow will be in my quiver soon. It was quite the hunt. Let's see how the Swiss mail system is. I am glad there's a manual on the boards for research purposes and it will definetley be useful. I am learning a good manual paired with a good book of the subject can really help a bu...

Re: Special Hobby Re 2000 GA wheel replacement
Hi Vince!
Thanks! I also sent a message to Airone Hobby, just did a beautiful 3D of folgore landing gear and wheel wells. I'm not in a rush. I hope I find something eventually.

Special Hobby Re 2000 GA wheel replacement
Ciao!
If I have posted this to the wrong area I apologize. I recently purchased the Special Hobby Re 2000 GA in 1/72 scale. I was wondering if there is anyone who makes a 1/72 wheel for this plane? I'm not happy with the ones in the kit.
