Re: SM.79 Sparviero bombing Gernika in april of 1937
The camo scheme on 28-11 is the two tone CMPR C2 , see the CMPR camouflage chips here: CMPR Camouflage Chips Profile 28-16 looks right. Sometimes it's difficult to see which is the base color. Scheme C2 says green over yellow. Profile 28-16 could be interpreted as yellow over green (?)

1&2 are the Vigna di Valle machine, the photos were probably photoshoped (aged) Ok, now I got it  Thank you for debunking the fake 1&2. Here's sample photos of one of my Special Hobby Macchi C.200 builds in CMPR Schema C8 "Poached Egg" A beauty! I feel envious of the detailed productions d...

Re: MC.200 369-1 Giovanni Borzoni
So we can assume that 369-1 in photo 1/2 vs 3 are either different machines or repainted?
We note also that the Scarabocchio insignia under the cockpit is different.

Re: MC.200 369-1 Giovanni Borzoni
Thanks for your reply, "Ali a colori" means "Wings in color". The book is a collection of color photos. Some are colored b&w and also captionned as such, some are real color. Here is the plane I am interested in. None of the 3 has a useful caption. Although not mentionned, I suspect these are colore...

MC.200 369-1 Giovanni Borzoni
Following the profile in "Ali e colori 2" this machine is often modelled with the poached egg Macchi style camo. I wonder if this is correct. In "Ali a colori" (by Matteo Cornelius Sullivan, YouCanPrint, 2021) page 63, some photos look rather like a Breda style camo. Actually, a camo very similar to...

Re: Prewar IMAM wing insignia
Thanks for your reply, The source is a pdf article I downloaded years ago. AlieuominiTitolo.JPG The link seems not to exist anymore - or is it the facebook site alieuomini.it (?) (I am not on facebook) Not sure if I can upload the complete pdf, let me know.. The caption says: Non stilizzata, a color...

Prewar IMAM wing insignia
Apparently this was a typical IMAM prewar insignia with its realistic fasces. Are there any photos out there where it can be seen?
What was the corresponding underside version?

Imam Ro 37 camo schema in CMPR
There appears to be a contradiction in CMPR page 76
On top of the page we read
Imam Ro 37 schema raffigurato nel chip C1...(foto 53)
But the caption at photo 53 says it is C10B
Which is right?
Is the 3-color schema really confirmed on this plane? Many color plates depict a 2-color camo.

Caproni 133 in Belgium
Did the Caproni 133T assigned to the fighter sq have defensive weapons or were they completely unarmed? In Harveys model can assume that the dorsal turret is missing or instead, represented in retracted position? https://www.stormomagazine.com/ModelArticles/Ca133/HarveyLow/Ca133T_HL_1a.html Thanks i...

Savoia-Marchetti S.74
Hi all, this is my first posting in this forum, surely not the last. I am about to decide how to paint my S.74 in 1/200. The few photos in the internet give no clue as to whether the background colour is rather a (darker)VM or (lighter)GM. The same photo of 604-8 can be interpreted one way or other....
