Re: Torresi's 1/48 Re 2005
Any thoughts on how I can replicate the 494 prototype canopy?

Torresi's 1/48 Re 2005
Evidently there were two 362a Squadriglia, 22° Gruppo, 42° Stormo 2005s with the same 'white 2'. Both with different MM codes. Toressi's was MM 092345. I would like to build Torrresi's re.2005 in 1/48 scale, but have held up because of the conflicting information. I know Minguzzi flew the two protot...

FLIGHT PATRIA HEART - SECOND EDITION
Volume 1: “They could only die” Volume 2: “Lived stories of pilots and aircraft”
Author: Paolo Pesaresi
Looking for a review of these books. Any new material, profile quality, etc. Anyone want to proffer an opinion? Thanks.

Re: Re 2005 combat
So the Re 2005 attributed to Torresi is "362-2" MM092345 according to Hakan's website on WWII biplane aces, http://surfcity.kund.dalnet.se/italy_torresi.htm, but I have seen references to a "362-2" with a different and later serial number, "092351". So what notable pilot could I reasonably depict th...

Re 2005 combat
I realizes that the Archer had a brief combat career and was not flown in any significant numbers, but was flown with some success by 22° Gruppo pilots, including Maggiore Minguzzi, Capitano La Ferla, Tenente Giulio Torresi and Sergente Donati. Is there any info on markings and codes for any of thei...

Fiat G.55 claims
Other than Toressi, did any ANR pilots make any claims flying this type? Thanks.

Vistini's -2 CR-42
Seems that consensus is that he flew 'red 2' with 412 squadriglia. Just curious why the consensus is that it was 'red 2' [squadriglia role?]. Also curious as to why there are not many images/profiles of the other pure CR-42 aces. I guess it was the chaotic conditions. Thanks.

Gorinni's Mc 205?
So did Gorinni flew a Macchi 205 'Red 23-White 1' as depicted in one of the art prints for sale on the Stormo website? Seems his 205 markings are hard to nail down Thanks for any insight.

Does the cockpit resin in the Flying Machine add value beyond the torpedo-carrying aspect [for which I have no interest]? I think the Special Hobby just has the injected cockpit and as far as I can determine, no one makes a resin cockpit for the kit. The SH cockpit looks pretty Spartan. Thanks.

Flying Machine 1/48 Fiat g.55
I was considering ordering the kit from Mr. Kit, but they are charging $36.00 shipping...ouch. Are there any stateside sources for the kit or should I opt for the Special Hobby version minus the resin cockpit. Thanks.

CA re.2001 availability?
I know this has long been OOP, but looking for a 'reasonably priced' example on the secondary market. Anyone know of any or have 10 or 12 stashed in the closet and needs to make room for new inventory? Thanks.
