I still think you did wonders on the kit.

If I recall correctly, Sky Models had a 1/72 set for German aircraft in the RA and that should have the blue numbers for a Do 217 on it.

Not sure if it is still in production.

Accourding to the book "Camouflage and Markings of the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana 1943 - 1945" by Ferdinando D'Amico and Gabriele Valentini most Macchi MC.205s and Fiat G.55s were painted with the RLM colours in the field, with paints supplied by the Germans. Hi Aleksander,

Sorry for waiting this long to reply. I have the Falcon set for Italian WW2 aircraft and it does include a canopy for the SM.79.

Just send me a PM with your details and I'll mail it to you.

Hi Stefano, In 1939-1940 all German civilian aircraft had the nazi flag painted on their tail surface, including the Lufthansa Ju 52s. If you want I can scan an image from "Im Zeichen des Kranichs" - The Aircraft of the Lufthansa 1926 - 2006. The Lufthansa Historic Flight Ju 52 uses the old style ta...

Fantastic , What a beautiful job. What color or mix did you use?
Since the model is largely a single colour, I used an enamel spray can from a local DIY (craft) store, which is very close to Humbrol H103 'cream'.

I hope this is of help.

Savoia S.73 - Supermodel kit conversion - FINISHED

Dear all, I have finalised my conversion of the Savoia SM.81 into the S.73 airliner. Made it just in time for the Dutch Nationals, where it won Bronze in the civil aviation category. Very nice work, especially in this small scale!

What did you use to hide the deep trenches for panel lines on the fuselage sides?

Thank you all for your comments. Vince, I'll gladly write up something for the gallery. Re. the seats: they were all scratch built, see images below. Just don't try to make 24 of these tiny seats in one go, you'll go nuts  https://www.mijnalbum.nl/Foto-RJGZRW4V-D.jpg https://www.mijnalbum.nl/F...
