It's a masterpiece! The bluish gray is very suitable, pure black (as stated usually in the instructions and books) can't be so "true".
I'll use your job as a reference, and obviously I'm waiting for your article.
Complimenti

Dear Vince, and dear all, I'm very intrested in this airplane, as my ancestor capt. Giuseppe Pesola fought over Malta too. If anyone has photos or other documents about, I'll be so happy to see them. I have just a photo of capt. Pesola near a Macchi mc 200 in Sicily, I belive soon after he arrived i...

Hi Vincent, you put at best what I mean. Lucky enough, Brits have a lot of SERIOUS historians, I belive the most part of them. I also think italians have a big fault: for so many years, history was left to anglo-american historians, telling us their "truth". For years the WW II was seen a big, sad m...

Just few words about: 1) if you compare the machines, why you take into account such a thing like morale or training? 2) lucky enough, a lot of SERIOUS people wrote about this item, and Macchi C 200 isn't the last in the row at all! Reported flight experience of british pilots with captured Macchi s...

My latin recalls are so far...but I used google to confirm. It means "Pochi ma sempre aggressivi", in english it's about "Few, but always aggressive"Garth wrote:Can someone please tell me the translation of " Pauci sed semper inmites" as used on 278 sq. badge? Thanks..in anticipation

Italian mail service is good enough, but please don't think a single person take your parcel here and knock at your door abroad! I often buy on e-bay and sometimes I experienced some problems with parcels coming from abroad (UK or Belgium...). About Misterkit, the owner is very serious, I know him, ...

I have found this...
Perhaps I can help you. I have found this drawing with a description of differences with the standard planes of that acrobatic team in Italy.

For Vincent
I apoligize for mistake! I was writing in a hurry, so I confused the second name with that of a modeller the article of which I was reading. I had a private message from a boy very intrested in my relative's story, and he gave me a long report of that day of fighting (15/03/1942), from original docu...

Thanks to everybody for the great interest and help. For Vincent Tassone: I'll try the e-mail address you gave, but I know it's very difficult to obtain something from archivio storico. I have two uncles (capt. Pesola was my Dad's uncle) who were in the Army, they tried several times to discover mor...

:D Thank you for informations, Stefano. I also think the 79-5 was the first airplane at hand, not the personal one (if he ever had) of my uncle. So, I was thinking, as I discovered for 79-6, 79-8 and other aircrafts of that Sq., there could be more information about that airplane, too. From your dat...
