For what it is worth the 1/72 AZ Models Ba.65 in Africa has no lower fuselage windows. Also if you look at Ali D'Italia #7 for the BA.65 on page 32 you can get the best look of the underneath fuselage of an aircraft in North Africa(it looks like no windows to me or maybe they were painted over). Vin...

Silver Wings CR.32

I just received my Silver Wings Fiat CR.32 kit today. All I can say is WOW. The detail is superb the decals are in perfect register and the fit looks to be amazing. The two fuselage halfs come packaged in the same bag and are together they already look like they were glued with no warpage and a perf...

Thanks Vince

for helping me out it seems that the segmented circle turned into an urban legend so to speak and everyone models the RA 109 that way. Ok so when finish my 109 it will be solid circle and over the painted crosses. Thanks again Vince - Tom

Regia Aeronautica 109 G

Vince I am working on an Italian 109 G-4. I have seen other 109's built and decal markings showing a segmented circle around the upper and lower wing Fasces. However Ali Straniere in Italia #1 Bf-109 in Italian Service pictures show a solid circle around the fasces (page 14). Is the segmented circle...

Iman RO.44

Vince,
Have you seen a review on the new Massi Models 1/48 Iman RO.44. I was wondering how it was before I bought it. It has a hefty price tag of $140. Thanks - Tom

Fieseler Storch

Vince, I just purchased the 1/48 Tamiya Storch and of course will build it in RA colors. I have seen a few color profiles from Korat Decals that show a North Africa Storch in the 3 tone scheme(Giallo Mimetico,Marrone Mimetico,Verde Oliva Scuro) with Grigio Mimetico undersides and another one with No...

Cr 32

Mike in looking at the photo on page 31 It appears to be Bruno Mimetico as depicted on the color plates on the front flap. The sun appears to be playing tricks with shadows because you can barely make out the Giallo and Verde demarcation line near the exhaust on the nose. The way the shadow is cast ...
