Hi Vincent,

thanks a lot for sharing this information with me, it's very interesting.

Is the book about Luigi Gorrini available in English?

Hello Dave,

that looks really good so far...especially the instrument panel and the gunsight!

Are you planning to use some weathering on the finished model?

Thank you for sharing the progress with us :)

Cheers

From the bombers' point of view it really could appear like they were used as baits - while from the fighters' point of view things looked possibiy quite different IMHO. Actually there were bitter and harsh arguments between bomber crews (plus Goering) on the one hand and the fighter pilots on the o...

Very interesting statement indeed. But I don't agree on that point "German fighter pilots used bombers as a bait". Experiences made in the Battle of Britain showed the Jagdwaffe that close escort didn't work out very well. It left the initiative to the intercepting fighters - and in the end bombers ...

That's really amazing! I never imagined that a SMER kit could look that great....

I love the Fiat G.55, especially in Luftwaffe colours.

Best regards from Germany

Italeri will finally release the standard version of their Fiat CR.42 kit!

The new boxing includes a new air intake without sand filter and decals for 6 a/c, 4 Regia Aeronautica, 1 Belgian and 1 Hungarian

Can't wait to get my hands on it! :)

@alinca: I had the same impression about the hump when I saw it. Seems to be a bit too short and also slightly out of shape somehow...

Did anyone compare it to plans in Ali d'Italia yet?

Otherwise it appears to be a decent kit...but I doubt it's better than the PCM kit

Hallo Alex, as substitute for "Future" I use acyrlic gloss varnishes. I tried Tamiya Clear spray in the past, but wasn't happy with it. Now several layers of Revell Aqua 01 work quite fine. I found out that it's really crucial to thin it quite a lot to get a smooth finish. Vallejo Model Air was also...

Hi Alex, some of your models are really great - especially the bombers. Concerning the aerial wires: I use fishing line with a diameter of 0.10 or 0.08 mm (available from amazon.de) and it really works well. Cyanoacrylate glue (the thick "gel"version) is good to adhere the wire to the antenna masts ...
