Having worked with the Italeri version of the 'Folgore' it is interesting to see the Hasegawa version. You are making a nice job so far.

Hi,
this is the most fine fishing line I can obtain locally. Not perfect, but perhaps a little better.

Hi jean, I use the most thin size plastic rod I can obtain for the antenna wire, but I would like to obtain and use a more scale material if I could. Meanwhile, I prefer to use an over-scale material than omit the antenna wire.

Thanks Vince. I always think that I could have done better with a kit, but I am quite pleased with how this one turned out. I think that I am learning new skills all the time. I must credit this web-site and some internet research with the colours. There have been many useful postings on this site a...

I now have the wings attached. I just need to do a little more detailing and I can move on to painting. Note the extension to the port wing.

Great finish with the paint scheme. I have a 1/72 version Academy/ Eduard planned. I am sure it won't be anything as good as your excellent version, but I must get round to it some time.

I have now completed the main work on the fuselage and have started on the wings. The fuselage took some time with trying different methods to produce the 'smoke rings'. This included having to strip a failed attempt off and start again. In the end I went back to Revell Aqua Color and brush painting...

Like that, good job. It seems people have always liked visiting Italia, even when they are not supposed to! I have several projects for non-italian aircraft in R.A. colours planned, must get around to doing one! I like very much your work with the paint job. It looks very effective, even on a straig...
