Re: Ottawa's trust in China has left us more vulnerable to COVID-19

Can't argue with that, especially about the equalization crap. If it gets bad here, do you think Quebec will chip in any coin to help us? Being landlocked, I don't think separation is a good idea, unless Saskatchewan and Manitoba come with us. I don't think BC would join us because those hippies don...

I only trust Kenney to sell out Alberta to the highest bidder. He just wants to privatise everything so he can line his and his backers pockets. He better keep his hands off my federal pension, too! I paid into that for over 40 years and I don't want his greasy, cheesy hands touching it.

Don't get me started on our present federal government or I'll be forcibly evicted from the forum for the use of such foul, vulgar language!

Hi, Bernard

Though they are a bit small when viewed on my computer monitor, I can see your pictures.

Re: Fiat BR 20 colors

Good luck on your build, Bernard. Even though this is an old kit, first released by Supermodel back in the 70's, Italeri's release is quite good. I don't think Italeri re-did the molds on this one like they did with their SM-81, but I think it will built up well. When I did my Supermodel kit back in...

Re: Canadian Network cuts out Trump and Hallmark dubbed "Fascist Propaganda"

I wish it were just a case of tv commercial breaks, but the CBC is as left wing as you get. In the US, there isn't a state run television channel, but we have one here. You usually find state run television channels in banana republics and dictatorships. My tax dollars pay for a channel that spews ...

The companies up here are also at the forefront of tailings pond recovery. Suncor was experimenting with it when I started there in 1980. So far they have almost completely recovered the first tailings pond. It is almost completely grassed over and trees are growing on it. The deer hang out there, t...

Re: 2020 Democratic Party Presidential Primaries

Just after I moved to Fort Mac, in the spring of '80, the population hit 35,000 and it went from town to city. By May, 2016 and the fire, the fixed population was 90,000+. Add in the Fly-in/Fly-out camp people, then it was over 100,000. The Sawridge was bought by the new GM owner and is now a dealer...

Re: 2020 Democratic Party Presidential Primaries

I couldn't give a rat's backside about this. It's US politics and I'm Canadian. I'm more concerned with our upcoming federal election. Not a lot of choices. It's enough to make an old man drink more than he normally does. Chris Not sure how bad you guys have been hit up there (are you still in Fort...

Re: to be or not to be ...

I am more interested in the aviation aspect, but then I've done that all my life. An early childhood memory is of a large low-flying passing over our small farm yard in Nova Scotia. It was either a Lockheed Neptune or a Canadair Argus. If you have separate forums for ships and armour, I may occasion...
