Re: NEWS: Special Hobby + Cunarmodel 1/72 Piaggio P.108T by Richard Mendes

Hello Richard, Beautiful job on my favourite Bomber of WW2! If you look closely, compared to the B17G, one will notice an identical tail. The bomber version has a different one. Very interesting indeed.
Drago's likeness is very close, but Visconti looks more like the actor Donald Sutherland!
Anyway, it is always a welcomed addition to the modeling of RA subjects.

Maxidad66,
Yes, if you want to model the aircraft operating over Malta, then I would use the Skymodels decals.
Have fun,

The colours of the aircraft are the Peruvian Air force. In 1939 the Cuerpo Aeronautico del Peru bought 16 Caproni Ca. 310 light bombers; they were shipped to Lima, assembled at Las Palmas and assigned to the XI Squadron where the Libeccios saw action during the war against Ecuador in 1941. Maxidad66, According to the sources that I have, the only SM81 unit that flew over Malta, was the 202, 203 Sq.s of the 40th Gruppo, 38 Stormo. In November of 1940, the unit briefly operated at night over Malta. The 218 sq was involved in the Balkan theatre. If you look closely at the Skymodels Decal...
