Nice Spray Work...

Well done no overspary, it looks great and the color matching looks really good, VITO chart colors. When you're done applying the camo I would weather the panel lines to highlight detail. ...Too bad I didn't know about VITO Charts when resumed building Regia Aeronautica modeling subjects after fall...

Me Neither!

Thanks so much RetiredInKalifornia! I don't want to invade Kriss' space as he illustrates his work to us. I will only mention one book, written however in Italian, which I consider very valid for understanding the aircraft and therefore knowing how to translate it into a model: Il Gobbo maledetto b...

...You'd ultra-super-detailed that old Airfix S.79 model far, far beyond anybody had done towards end of the 20th Century, heartfelt congrats sir! I remember scratch builders producing marvelous airplane models during the 1960s, one supremely gifted though sadly now long-dead man making a diorama o...

Very Nice Italeri Macchi C.200 Build...

...Too bad I'd not routinely built larger than 1/72nd scale airplanes, never had storage space for anything larger considering I'd have dozens of builds on display where I'd lived alone or with my late folks house here in Cameron Park (person I'd sold it to on November 19, 2015 died on January 20th...

My 1/72nd Scale Build Of 364 - 7

This of the ancient Revell USA or UK kit build c.2011 per SKYMODELS Decals painting instructions excised & enlarged off photo taken September 24, 2017. Obviously Mimetico didn't check whether should had been in Tavola X colors, no "investment loss" considering small scale & inaccurate moulding but ...

Hmm...

Pre-assembled cabin interior including instrument panel from YAHU and belts from EDUARD. Richard, I've just watched your posts but certainly not all of them. And you're right I'm under 50 and my eyesight has already deteriorated and without glasses I'm not going anywhere with the model. ...Sad to h...

Is This A Trumpeter Model?

Made several eye-checks to be sure this wasn't an actual WWII photo, "super clean" overall look along with model-like landing gear says its an extremely clever large-scale outside diorama build, but is it a Trumpeter one:

Thank You...

Here's sample photos of one of my Special Hobby Macchi C.200 builds in CMPR Schema C8 "Poached Egg" A beauty! I feel envious of the detailed productions displayed on this site. My models are tiny 1/200 game tokens, barely visible on the table with my fading eyesight  ...Fortunately my eyesight...

Look At The Nardi Behind the Saetta...

Similar camo scheme though with wider "criss-cross" pattern, both possibly repainted around same time - ?

Bona fortuna in constructione exemplar :>)

Unless you've read my posts here on Stormo December 29, 2020 I'd retired from 59 on-off years of scale model building. Sixty years ago now my first "builds" were underway for the formative 1964-69 "building" period whilst living in Sacramento, CA, crude slap togethers initially. Many if not most of...

Before Squadron Books...

...All I & other ordinary young USA scale aircraft modelers had available in way of useful and affordable references during the 1960s were the Profile Publications sold mostly in hobby & book stores. Beers Books in downtown Sacramento (still in business since 1936 now south of downtown) carried the...

My IMAM Ro.37 Build With Elaborated Fasci Decals
