Hello guys, I've finally started painting but I had to face some nasty joins along the way. I used Italian Gray From Model Master for the Grigio Azzurro Chiaro and from White Ensign the Verde Olivo 2 and Nocciola Chiaro. This is the result: http://www.ipmsguatemala.net/images/stories/foro/jrlucero/M...

Hi guys,

I didn't realize I had a colored photograph of the C.202 I'm planning to do. It's right on the cover of the Wings of Italy book!! I'll do mine with out the wing armament as there's no evidence that it had them by looking at that photo.

I'll keep you posted.

Work in Progress: 1/48 Hasegawa Macchi C.202

Hello guys, I've been working on a 1/48 Hasegawa Macchi C.202. I'm planning on doing Giulio Reiner's C.202 Serie III MM7823. For the cockpit I used the FM cockpit set. http://www.ipmsguatemala.net/images/stories/foro/jrlucero/Macchi/cockpitFloor.JPG http://www.ipmsguatemala.net/images/stories/foro/j...

Thanks for your input Jean! I think I'll leave the wing guns on this one. I'm going to post some pics of the progress I made on the forum.

In my mind, the CR.42 was the best biplane fighter of all time. It outclassed all the other biplanes that served in WWII.

Thanks for sharing!

Questions about C.202 MM7823 flown by Giulio Reiner

Hello guys, I'm working on a 1/48 Hasegawa Macchi C.202, I want to build it as Giulio Reiner's mount as depicted in Regia Aeronautica Caccia & Assalto Parte II by Paolo Waldis and Marino de Bortoli. According to Ali D'Italia's C.202 volume, the serial numbre MM7823 corresponds to a Serie III built b...

The camouflage of the G.55 Silurante

Hi guys, In the previous forum there was a nice discussion of the camouflage colors of the G.55S. I'm just detailing the cockpit of the Vintage kit of the G.55S but I haven't decided which of the different versions of the scheme I'll use. According to Camouflage and Markings of the ANR by Fernando D...

That CR.42 is looking great!

Hello Davide, your CR.42 is coming out to be a great model. Those are some strong struts. Why did you put all that weight on the top wing??
