ANR (and Cobelligerent) C.205 footage

Post by warhawk » Mon Jan 03, 2022 5:43 am

Found on Youtube, not sure if it is colorized or not.
Still thought it interesting for forum members to see.

Cheers!

Thank you it is something worthwhile seeing. The last plane shown had the ugliest camouflage.

Fascinating! Thanks for sharing it. A great, though brief, piece of aviation history.

It seems to have been touched-up by many different hands at many different points in time, neither of them respecting the previous 'artist'.

Thanks Alex. That's a great video, I wasn't aware of it. I usually do a scan through youtube every now and then looking for videos like this. The pilot in the cockpit is Adriano Visconti. The footage does look colorized although it could be film degradation. Colorization routines today can be accurate but they have trouble distinguishing a horizon and usually break up at that point, that's not the case in this video. There's also a Martin Baltimore at the end of the video as the Co-Belligerent C.205V taxies. A precious artifact. Thanks again Alex.
