Fiat G. 18

Post by Shane » Tue Jun 05, 2007 7:21 am

I saw a resin kit of a Fiat G. 18 go up for sale on ebay (item 160124291239), and I am interested in learning more about this aircraft and kit.
a) Was the A/C used by the Regia Aeronautica in WWII? The internet does not have a great deal of information about the history of the plane.

b) Has anyone built this 1/72 scale resin kit by Italia kits(?) or know anything about it?

Not associated with the seller or item.
Thanks again
Shane

Hi Shane,
Here is something that might help.
The first part is written in Italian, then followed by a rather poor English translation, but at least you can pick up the basic story on this aircraft.
Here is the site: www.aerei-italiani.net/fiat_G18.htm

Hope this helps you,
Vincent.
