Could any member shed light on what modifications were made in order to get the P designation.This model was modified to carry paratroops.Bry.

Hey Bryan,
The SM.82 was designed as a miltary transport (the worlds first) and as far as I know the ability to transport troops (+paratroops) was built into the design. Same thing with the weapons system - built into the design. There shouldn't have been signifcant alterations to the orginal design to accomodate paratroopers and hence no P designation (as far as I know).
