Announced within the last 45 minutes, no surprise given the Democratic Party Establishment wanted Joe Biden, did everything possible to ensure he's the 2020 Presidential Candidate.

The key word in Sander's announcement is "suspends". Sanders is prudent to wait and see what happens, he's not that far behind in the delegate count and Biden is just stumbling along - Biden could die, that's not an exaggeration (e.g., Covid-19, look at Boris Johnson). But I don't believe Sanders will be allowed to win anyway. Sanders is not a Democrat, he's a "communist". Sanders made a critical error in his campaign when he thought the American people were ready for Communism when he compared the US to Cuba - a glimpse into what he had in-store for the US. Sanders drew young people because of his authenticity, like Ron Paul (a Libertarian) did with Republicans. From that point it was down-hill. Biden can't beat Trump at this time and if Trump somehow starts up the economy without dipping back into a (major) corona virus outbreak before November, he's unbeatable because the American people will look at him as a "savior", and rightly so - everyone of Trump's moves have been correct to this point - and notwithstanding a disloyal unpatriotic US media.

...Out as well yes, "suspending" being the usual term for an election candidate Exiting Stage Left. Trump WILL be reelected, Senate WILL remain in Republican hands House WILL go Republican despite beyond all-out attempts by "The World" to Trip Trump And The Republicans over COVID-19, gonna be delicious though still fraught with peril, e.g. China suddenly cutting off critical medical supplies, selling their U.S. debt, any number of nasty things their dictatorship would do to bring "The Angry Orange Man" down ASAP.

I agree China wants Trump out because they know what's on the way. China is a pariah state. The question is how will the rest of the world, in particular the US outcast China? Seize assets, waive debt, a coordinated response from all the western democracies is needed e.g., US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain etc. I was watching a Trump press briefing the other day and a Chinese "journalist" from "Hong Kong" spewing propaganda and claiming to be a member of the "free press" in Hong Kong. Well it turns out the paper the Chinese "journalist" works for is owned by a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in charge of, of all things, propaganda. The question is, will the left mobilize against a Chinese response claiming racism in order to freeze Trump from dealing with China. China needs to be thrown out of the WHO and WTO. China was far less of a problem 20 yrs ago (health-wise and economically) when its economy was only 10% of the US - today that country is a serious problem to us all.
