Today, a Luce video of the FIAT G.80, Italy's first Post-War jet. In the video you'll see a fly-by of an Italian de Havilland Vampire as well as Giuseppe Gabrielli.

...Cunarmodel marketed the 1/72 scale resin + vacuform CM7220 FIAT G.80-1B N.C.2 kit, sold out of course. Video showed a presumed FIAT license-built De Havilland Vampire FB.51/52 "aerial kiddie car" screaming by, nice touch

yeah that's a very cool video, actually both Fiat and Macchi licensed built 150 De Havilland Vampire FB.52s, they received 51 x FB.52s built in the UK as part of the license agreement. yeah the Vampire was no comparison to US jets of the time P-80, F-84, F-86 etc.

…"The Vamp" & Gloster Meteor were First Generation British military jets, both popular with foreign air forces former supposedly easier to fly & maintain, later being in service longer; F-86 fully second generation U.S. jet after the P-80, early F-84s arguably 1-1/2 generation.
