I was just wondering how the special hobby G.55 kit compares to the flying machines kit (with optional torpedo version)?
Is the fuselage accurate length and size?

Hello Nino! I haven't built mine yet so I can't tell you how it builds.
The Flying Machines shares most of it's parts with the SH kit. In addition to what you find in the SH kit you get two lower wings, one for the Silurante version and one for the fighter version and the parts that are need to do the silurante version. It has a small colored photo etched sheet that covers mostly the cockpit. Lots of great resin accesories including the cockpit and other goodies. The SH kit doesn't include the resin parts.
Check this review of the SH kit here:

I have built the FM Silurante kit, but what follows would apply to the SH kit as well.
The trailing edges of the wing are quite thick and will need thinning down a fair amount.
The stabiliser fillets on the fuselage need to be trimmed to avoid a swept back appearance.
The cowling assembly is tricky to align.
The etch grilles are too deep for the wing radiators.
Despite all this, the kit looks great when complete. The best G.55 kit out there.

Kit of the year
My nomination for kit of the year has to be Alpha Flight's
C.R.D.A. Cant. Z. 506B/S Airone. I know it's not actually RA.
However, As usual the quality is good and it's huge.
A bit expensive but worth it.
My all time favorite would be a tie between Classic Airframes RE 2000, because of it's links to Sweden, or RCR Breda Ba65A-80 as its a great kit.
