This is the Hurricane ex.Jugoslavian air force, in charge to Regia Aeronautica sprig-summer 1941, with the camo and markings used by Regia in that period; the starting kit is the C.A. 1/48 Hurricane Mk I fabric wings and I have reproduced the camo from some images I have; at the moment of the pic the camo needed still some refinement on the fuselage

Beautiful work! What version of the Hurricane is this plane? I have several unbuilt Hurricane kits I'd like to build into a RA version.

I just completed a RA MS.406 that I'll post in the coming weeks and the beauty of building that particualr subject was that the plane carried no unit markings, and therefore could use "unused" decals I had from other kits.

Hi all
I insert two images of Regia Hurricane which, in my opinion, allows to see a close and clear image of the camouflage; the first one comes from the booklet "Dimensione Cielo" n°3 Edizioni Bizzarri, issued in Italy in the spring of 1972 and shows the airplane after its arrival at Ciampino in september 1941, wearing the Italian camouflage, substituting the Jugoslavian one, and still with the yellow nose.

In the second one the airplane wears again the Italian insigna after having fought as "enemy" airplane in the film "Un pilota ritorna" (A pilot comes back) 1942; in that occasion the first italian insigna were substituted with English? insigna and the yellow nose had received a net in dark green (Verde Oliva scuro?); from another photo (I hope they all will be published in an article on the CMPR Notiziario) it is possible to see that also the first italian insigna on the upper and lower surfaces of the wings had not the white background; I hope to see new and never published images on the next book of the series " Ali straniere in Italia" to be issued by G. Apostolo.
