235th Squadriglia CN - Capt. Aramis Ammannato - July 1943

I have not found any pictures of the sides or top of this aircraft, so the markings are a mere hypothesis.

oooops...Grazie, Riccardo. Seems I'll have to locate some Squadriglia codes (light blue?) and erase the white crosses on the tail to improve the accuracy of this one. Will I do it, or will I leave it as is? Who knows...

I still think you did wonders on the kit.

If I recall correctly, Sky Models had a 1/72 set for German aircraft in the RA and that should have the blue numbers for a Do 217 on it.

Not sure if it is still in production.

Hi Massimo,
I too built a similar kit a few years back, except I made mine a night fighter scheme of all black.
I used blue decals for the 235th Sq. and also had to use references from Aerofan magazine.
Very nice job on your Do 217.
Vincent.

No, not when you're building a kit :)
