Thanks Vince. I always think that I could have done better with a kit, but I am quite pleased with how this one turned out. I think that I am learning new skills all the time. I must credit this web-site and some internet research with the colours. There have been many useful postings on this site about R.A. colours recently, which have been very helpful with this and other future projects.

Hello dave! For a more realistic look , why don't you try fishing line 0,800 painted in black for the antenna wire. This will look much more to scale. Best regards, jean. :D

Hi jean, I use the most thin size plastic rod I can obtain for the antenna wire, but I would like to obtain and use a more scale material if I could. Meanwhile, I prefer to use an over-scale material than omit the antenna wire.

Hi,
this is the most fine fishing line I can obtain locally. Not perfect, but perhaps a little better.

Much better indeed, but i have never seen that wire configuration, where did you get the pattern? Best regards, jean.

Hi jean, I got the pattern for the antenna wires from the illustration of this aircraft in Ali D'Italia 27, Aermacchi C.205.

Dear Dave
if u r trying to make kit as accurate as the master, u has tu be sure u r able to do it. It makes no sense to repair wings and tail part if u r not able to do it in a clear and right way. Sorry, but pls try to do this kind of kits as it is in a easiest way (no repairs or addons) and once it can be called a clean building, u can change anything....
Brgds
Jan
