Eduard 1/48 Co-Beligerant P-39Q

Post by Luftwoller » Fri Sep 30, 2011 11:20 am

Hi all, ive not been around in a while, for which i can only appologise. (Too many projects and too little time)
Here are a few pics of my last completed build. It is Eduards P-39Q. Ive read nothing but good things about this kit, with the exception of the overly thick trailing edges, I still managed to have wing root problems. Aah well, if it all went easily, it would be fun, would it?
Anyhoo Pics,

The gun nose bay is by CMK and was error free. No bubbles just all crisp moldings. The only downside is the plane is now a tailsitter, but i intend to put this one on a base which would sort that out,
Thx for looking,

Great finish with the paint scheme. I have a 1/72 version Academy/ Eduard planned. I am sure it won't be anything as good as your excellent version, but I must get round to it some time.
Dave. :)
