Macchi C.205 Veltro

Hi all,
here are some pictures of my new project - Macchi C.205 Veltro with guns.
Kit is 1/48 Hasegawa. I have used excellent Eduard prepainted photoetched parts and resin wheel wells.
This Veltro is really nice kit!
kit in Mr. Surfacer 1000...
...upgraded Venturi´s tube...
...rescribed engine cowling and air intake...
...cockpit is done with Eduard photoetched parts...

You're really doing a great job with that C.205. Are the covers for the main gear well a photo etched piece?

Just to be precise,at page 61 of the book "Camouflage and Markings of the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana" by D'Amico Valentini, there is a photo of the C205 coded 3-3 Paolino IV° and the wing insigna on the wing upper surfaces are not white but black.

Yes I know... This is my mistake

I have another black fasces, I want replace it...

Hello,
i'm not sure at 100% but i think that the outer blade of the "fascio" insisgna on the right wing must point forward.

Yes it is possible, but I have only Skydecals, and there are only "one side " fasces

after a quick research i have found some photos of aircrafts sporting the "fasci" in both versions. The black outlined with transparent base version seems have the blade pointing forward,while in those with the white base, the blade points backwards....so all is possible.
