I decided for the machine 96-6 which was damaged during one operation over Malta and some part were repaired. But I don't know if these parts were overpainted with gray colour or not. The sources which I have divide upon this fact. Can someone help me?

Lubos,
Looks to my eyes like you've another outstanding project underway.Keep up your excellent modeling. As for your question concerning 96-6 repairs.Judging from the photos I've seen of this aircraft 96-6 I would say it appears to be a natural metal panel (because of it's brightness).Look at the replacement panel in your second photo note the differance between it and the landing gear covers.I'm certainly no expert but I would go with natural metal.Hope that helps you.

The artwork on the old Squadron/Signal volme shows this area painted in gray colour (probably the Grigio Mimetico);also the patches near the wing root and on the tail cone (between the stabilizer and the rudder) seems to be in the same colour.
I don't think it is in natural metal, because the demarcation line of the new colour don't match with the panel lines on the wing.
Hope to see the kit finished soon.
ciao

Hi Lubos

Take a look here :

http://hsfeatures.com/c202mb_2.htm

and here :

http://www.amv-lilliput.org/modelli/aer ... /202_2.htm

You can see I forgotten to close the cartige exausts below the wings !!!

I painted the damaged area in Grigio Mimetico ... may be green primer too.... but it seem the same shade of the patches on fuselage .
So the painter was still activated.Ferdinando is righ .

all the best !

Marco
