Macchi 202 in 1/32 scale

Post by GAJouette » Sun Aug 17, 2008 5:48 pm

This my first Regia Aeronautica project which was completed late last year. The original idea behind this project was to practice the Smoke Ring camoflage before tackeling PCM's Macchi 202 ,and to battle my AMS with a simple kit build. It appears that I'm even more riddled with AMS than I thought as I soon began on an adventure of correcting details and scratchbluiding. The entire cockpit was built up from scratch as were the engine bay, landing gear was modified to fit larger wheels and shortened to improve the sit of the model, the list goes on and on.Did this project cure my AMS you might ask?No it didn't,but all and all I had a blast with this little project. The Smoke Rings turned out just so so to my eyes any tips you fellows would like to past on would be great. Thanks for taking the time to look.
Regards,
Gregory Jouette
