Some very good work here Martin.
With regards to the fit, had you considered attaching the top wing parts to the fuselage first, before gluing the lower wing in place? I find this helps to get a good join along the wing fillet.
The main issue for me with this kit was getting a good fit around the engine cowling parts. How did you tackle this?

Hello Martin and Welcome! Thank you for sharing these wonderful pics of your Fiat G.55. You've done a terrific job so far and I'm looking forward to seeing the completed model! The weather (pre-shading) is great. It looks like we have another Master Builder join us from the Czech Republic - it seems to me all Czechs are born with an airbrush in their hand

!!

to Chris: thank you very much for your compliment

I have to say that I considered about proceedings you wrote, but there was problem, that (using this proceedings) panel lines (scribing) at the top wing part don't connect to panel lines on the lower part of wing...I chose the way that appear less difficult to reparation for me

and I have to agree with you about engine cowling parts, putting together this parts was the worst step during my building this kit

maybe i find some photos...
to Webmaster: Hallo and thank you for your welcome, I'm glad you like my kit

this is my first attempt to make so dramatically wheathered surface...but I'm not a master, I commited so many errors during building this kit...but thank you very much again, I thing Czech modellers are really very good modellers
to Gregory: thank you for your welcome and compliment, I'll try to finish this kit at short notice

I don't know what you did was pre-shading or post-shading, but it is inspiring nonetheless. Great job. I'm going to have give that technique a whirl.

To Capitano: oh, thank you very much

I used only post-shading technicques, 5 or 6 shades of green, no pre-shading.
I'm going to put photos of the completed kit in a week, kit is done yet, but I have to make acceptable photos.

Hello Martin,
Welcome to Stormo.
Man, your colours are unreal. That is one of the best I have ever seen.
I must say that you guys form the Czech Republic are very, very talented.
Great work on the G55!
Vincent.

Hi Martin
I second Vincent's opinion above. Amazing technique, I can only dream of achieving such effects. Would you care to comment on the concentrations you used for the washing techniques?
Congratulations,
Alex

Nice job but you have sanded the base of the wing gun too much, and that's a real pity on such a beautiful model of yours. Merry Xmas and Happy new year to all the czecs friends, jean.
