Nice work! I like the corrected tail surfaces. Makes it look even more elegant. Is it correct to say that the SM.81 wings were based on the S.55? The ailerons look very similar.

Hi Guys,

I currently working on a Supermodel SM 81 Pipistrello , which will be finished in the markings of a machine of the Aviazione Legionaria (the Italian contribution to the Nationalist effort in the Spanish Civil War).

Here are some shots of the scratch build interior:

Beautiful work , a pity it will not be seen when it is closed up. But still, a beautiful job well done. Keep us posted.

Somewhere I missed what scale this is. This is incredible detail work for the interior - one of those "But I'll know it's there" situations....

Peter was using the Supermodel 1/72 S.81. He never sent in the completed model.

Wow, what a shame! I missed the fact that the initial post was over a dozen years old...... I'd love to see the finished product.
