Masterful job on this very rough kit! Thank you for posting the images. The C.200 Eastern Front scheme is a favorite of mine.

stretched sprue, small bits of plasticard, thin copper wire. The forks came from the kit: they were moulded off-center, but they were so thick that I could sand them until I corrected the issue. The wheels also came from the kit: they were off-center as well, so I splitted them vertically, added some plasticard to give more thickness and re-glued them aligned. The hubs were reshaped by adding small plastic discs. I wanted to use as many original parts as I could.

Agreed! In fact I get more satisfaction from these kits then I do from the latest high-tech ones.
