Nice Work...

...Done over 10 years ago no less! During 2010 BTW commenced building radial engine FIAT & Macchi 1/72 scale models well as SUPERMODEL FIAT CR.32 in-lines saving all but one pair of spare CR.32ter version wing-mounted 7.7mm machine gun blisters for the "what-if" Macchi C.202 builds, last three spare blister pairs recently incorporated in the final "what-ifs".

Per period photos I've seen of Corpo Aereo Italiano FIAT CR.42s; 18° Gruppo emblem Fasci blades faced forwards towards pilot, 83°, 85°, 95° Squadrigli "83", "85", "95" numbers aft of emblems towards tailplanes

As far as i know
in the CAI squadriglia 95 always had individual numbers positioned towards the cockpit and squadriglia number towards the tail
as 9-95 fuselage left side
and 95-9 fuselage right side
with individual number facing towards the cockpit
but may be a nice pic could prove me wrong
regards

Hi Stefano, nice to have you back. You're right, Jan reversed the order of the tactical codes, the individual aircraft number was pointing forward on these planes. Still a very nice build.
