Finished Special hobby's Piaggio P108
Hi all, i found this kit at a recent show i went to.
On checking the contents i found all the pieces to make the 'Gun nosed' Series 1. I did a fair bit of scratchbuilding on the interior as i feared there would be a fair bit of empty space on view, what with the huge glasshouse. Wrong!! You see diddly LOL,
Anyhoo, here she is. I based her on this picture from Ali D'Italia's great book on the subject,
All comments gratefully recieved,

Thanks Vincent, as for the propellors. From what i gleaned, the earlier Piggys and the prototypes had the ally fronts to them and the later series had the all black and did away with the yellow tips.

Guy,
Congratulations on your beautiful and highly complex paint job. How did you set out your camouflage patterns? Was it done freehand, or did you pencil the mottle locations on to the Giallo Mimetico before you started spraying the verde and marrone?
Regards,
Aeroal.

Thanks again guys, i really appreciate it. Aeroal, i painted all the camo freehand, but must admit that i painted her twice. As the 1st time i really wasnt happy with her. But it was the Giallo 1st then the Verde blobbles and then the marrone to finish.
